GUIDELINES
- All ISCF Event Officials shall be
employed by the Event Promoter.
- Each Official must know ALL the rules and regulations for an ISCF MMA event.
- Promoters seeking properly qualified officials;
- ISCF Promoters may suggest Any Event
Official for their event However ALL Officials must be approved by the ISCF Event Representative or the ISCF Headquarters ONLY.
- If the Event is under the "Direct" Jurisdiction of a State Boxing
or Athletic Commission, contact the State office first.
- The ISCF will assist their Promoters
to assure they have the best qualified officials for each position.
- The ISCF Event Representative has the
right to excuse ANY Event Official Before
or During any ISCF bout or event if said
Official breakes, disregards or abuses any ISCF
Rules or Regulations or fails to uphold the highest quality and professionalism
for their Official position as deemed necessary by the ISCF
Event Representative overseeing the ISCF
Sanctioned Event.
- The ISCF reserves all rights to deny
or appoint all necessary officials if the promoter's selections do not meet the
required qualifications of the ISCF.
- NO OFFICIAL may consume ALCOHOL
or any Illegal DRUG the "Day" of the Scheduled event
until "AFTER the Event is OVER. This is because even if an official has
concluded their duties and has no more bouts to oversee, the ISCF Event
Representative may need him/her to replace or fill in for any other event
Official during the remainder of the evening.
- Any official who is found under the influence of ANY drug or alcohol
immediately prior to or during the event shall be BANNED from the event,
fined a "Minimum" of $500.00 by the ISCF
and placed on a suspension determined by the ISCF.
- Any official at an ISCF event shall
give permission to the ISCF for drug
testing before or after any bout, amateur or pro and especially if the bout is a
title match. If any official is found under the influence of ANY Illegal Drug ,
the official shall be fined a "Minimum" of $500.00 by the ISCF and placed on a suspension determined by the
ISCF.
Each and every ISCF match
shall have the following personnel present at all times. The
ISCF Event Representative MUST
BE an Official ISCF Event Representative
directly approved and appointed by the ISCF.
However, all other event officials are not required to be ISCF
Certified. However if not, the Promoter must provide proof of their ability via
video tape or references.

- 1 Timekeeper
- TIMEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES
- To keep accurate time of all bouts.
- Begin the start of the clock for each round, as initiated by the referee,
including overtime rounds.
- Give "3" Slaps to the ring mat or 3 pounds on the table (Or a
hard surface - maybe with a hammer) to indicate 10 seconds remaining in the
round. This is for the referee to move closer to assure the safety of the
fighters at the end of round bell.
- Blow a whistle to indicate to the referee that there are 10 seconds left in
the round break. This is so the referee can clear out the cornermen, have them
clean their corners and prepare to begin the round.
- Start and stop the match clock for time stoppages as called by the referee.
- Signal the end of each round by the use of a bell, buzzer, or other
available LOUD signal.
- Having an Assistant Timekeeper could be helpful to the main Timekeeper.
- 1 Scorekeeper
- SCOREKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and tabulate the scores and point deductions from all of the judges.
- All actual scores must be placed on the master scoresheet as they are
indicated by the judges' scorecards. In the event there is a knockout or the
referee stops the match for any reason, the scorekeeper must ascertain the exact
time from the timekeeper. This will be recorded on the area marked on the
scoresheet.
- Having an Assistant Scorekeeper could be helpful to the main Scorekeeper.
- Ring Announcer
- The Ring Announcers job is to fully represent the event to the public in an
official and professional manor.
- The Ring Announcer shall NEVER use Profanity over the microphone
that the crowd will hear.
- If the Ring Announcer uses ANY Profanity over the Event
PA/Microphone, he/she could be fined up to the amount of $1,000.00 by the ISCF Event Representative $500.00 and banned from
the event.
- He is to read all the bout results as requested to him by the ISCF Event representative. For this purpose we
recommend all Ring Announcers use the announcement cards provided by the ISCF which can be found
HERE.
- There shall be NO TALKING by the Ring Announcer over the microphone
or ANYONE over a Microphone during a "REAL" bout.
- DJ's"
- There shall be NO MUSIC played during a bout.
- Fighter entree music or Event Music with abusive lyrics (Profanity)
and or foul language is NOT ALLOWED and will NOT BE TOLERATED!
- DJ's", Please review ALL "UNKNOWN" fight
music BEFORE the event.
- If you play such music "YOU"
will be fined by the
ISCF Event Representative $500.00 and
banned from the event.
- Fighters are required to request music that has NO Profanity!
