MANDATORY RULE
For
Reasons of Important Contact Availability, Except for the individual Fighters
who live within
*50 Miles of the venue
ALL fighters Are Required to Stay At The Host Hotel
Those fighters who have not confirmed their rooms by
Registration will be asked for your room number and room confrimation code in
case we need to contact you for bout or schedule changes.
If you are not registered in a room at the Host Hotel, you
will be dropped from the event.
WHY?: At two of our past (IKF Kickboxing) we had some fighters we needed to locate due to bout changes but we could not find them in the event room or in the hotel because they were at another hotel sleeping. Due to these issues causing a lot of problems, we do not want to face such issues again. This is why this is a MANDATORY RULE now for competitors.

ABOUT OUR HOST HOTEL
The
Hyatt Regency Crown Center is the tallest Hotel in Kansas City. It stands 42
floors high with 731 rooms located only 20 miles from the KCI International
Airport and only a short distance by car from downtown Kansas City. The
adjoining shopping center offers restaurants, fast-food outlets and bars making
it a popular choice although the Power and Light district is only a short cab
ride away. The health club has exercise equipment, an all-weather pool, steam
room, whirlpools and saunas. The hotel also has two lighted tennis courts.
Complimentary wireless High-speed Internet access is still available in the
lobby. You can either pay to park in the hotel's adjacent garage, or park for
free in a nearby lot.
All rooms have large desks, phones with data ports, high-speed Internet access (for a fee), minibars, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, and combination granite baths with backlit mirrors.
Premium rooms on 39 and 40 offer Continental breakfast, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Top-floor rooms overlook downtown for a wonderful view. Room service is on duty from 6 am to midnight. Pets are not permitted.
